چکیده
AGN are elusive objects across that are visible across the electromagnetic spectrum. Currently, there is no complete picture of AGN formation and evolution in galaxy clusters. A general understanding of the AGN population has been impeded by cluster and selection biases and recent studies have shown that there is a large population of obscured or optically unremarkable AGN in galaxy clusters. This study aims to investigate the properties of AGN in 17 galaxy clusters of varying redshift in the optical, X-ray, and infrared wavelengths to get a better understanding of how the cluster environment affects the evolution and distribution of AGN.

We report the discovery of an X-ray luminous galaxy cluster at z = 1.26. RXJ0848.9+4452 was selected as an X-ray cluster candidate in the ROSAT Deep Cluster Survey, on the basis of its spatial extent. Deep optical and near-IR imaging have revealed a galaxy overdensity around the peak of the X-ray Based in part on observations obtained at the W.M. Keck Observatory Based in part on observations o...

We present high and moderate spectral resolution spectroscopy of diffuse ionized gas (DIG) emission in the halo of NGC 891. The data were obtained with the SparsePak integral field unit at the WIYN Observatory. The wavelength coverage includes the [N II]λλ 6548, 6583, Hα, and [S II]λλ 6716, 6731 emission lines. Position-velocity (PV) diagrams, constructed using spectra extracted from four Spars...
